MISSION STATEMENT/WHAT YOU STAND FOR/VALUE

Baconhound is Phil Wilson- a food writer and radio columnist for CBC Edmonton, head food judge for the Edmonton Heritage Festival, and enthusiast of well-made comfort foods.

Catch Phil’s radio column every second Friday on CBC Radio Active. You can also find articles on cbc.ca, in EDify Magazine, as well as monthly appearances on CBC Radio’s Alberta at Noon.

When not indulging in some of Edmonton’s best independent eateries or cooking at home, you’ll probably find Phil and his partner Robyn supporting Edmonton’s live theatre scene, kayaking at Elk Island, or biking through the river valley.
