Finding Edmonton’s tastiest cinnamon buns is a tough task, but when important work like this comes up you have to answer the call.
Edmonton AM’s Adrienne Pan, filling in for regular host Mark Connolly, arranged a list of 5 cinnamon buns based on feedback from listeners, and Adrienne, Garrette McGowan, and I put them to the test in a blind taste-off.
Adrienne and I picked B as our winner, which turned out to be from a neighbourhood gem, Hazeldean Bakery. Garrette picked D, from Cinnzeo.

Listened to the clip. Brought back nice memories when I lived in Edmonton and woudl listen the CBC morning show every day. Left Edmonton almost one year ago and am working in Fort St John. The cinnamon bus that I liked was from District Cafe close to ‘the Leg’. When living in Edmonton and travelled to Vancouver, always had to bring with me a box of cinnamon buns from District Cafe.
